Francesca Bria and Marleen Stikker were present at SHA2017 to talk about DECODE and the role of citizens in data management, Smart Cities and bottom-up initiatives.

SHA2017 was a non profit outdoor Hacker camp that was held in The Netherlands in 2017 on August 4th to 8th. SHA is an abbreviation for Still Hacking Anyway.

The festival was organized for and by volunteers from and around all facets of the international hacker community. Knowledge sharing, technological advancement, experimentation, connecting with hacker peers and of course hacking were some of the core values of this event.
